Basics
Any computer, such as a laptop you’re using to browse pages in a coffee shop, or a beefy desktop unit at home, consists of a few basic components. One of which is the large glass slab you stare at, the monitor display. Another is the keyboard. Similar to the typewriters of the olden days, keyboards let us write stuff (documents, messages, etc.) on our computer. Next is the mouse. Laptop users have something called a trackpad. Both are used for the purpose of controlling the cursor, which in turn allows you to make use of the user interface. And of course, we shall not forget the CPU, or the brain of your computer.
Now, here are a few basic tips you might want to try out should your computer act funny:
Harnessing the Power of Google Search
When encountering something unusual with your computer, it’s best that you look it up (using Google, or your search engine of choice). Be as descriptive as you can!
